Voicemail notification that won't go away.

My phone has had a 'new voicemail' notification since I got voicemail turned off a year ago. Now that I have voicemail on again, my message box is empty but the notification is still there. Any ideas on how to clear that? I've tried pressing the Clear box at the top of the pull-down Notifications window.

Did you try dialing into the Voicemail & going through a few of the prompts giving the system time to register it has no messages?
Or you could try leaving yourself a message then deleting it.

I left myself a message and that worked. Thanks!

Just a heads up that koodo can only temporarily shut off your voice mail. Eventually the system notices it's off and turns it back on. What you need to do is turn on your extended absence greeting and turn off the recording of incoming messages.
