I never set up voicemail on my prepaid account and I am getting voicemail with no way to answer or delete. Now what ticks me off is I can't do this through self serve since I have no original pin to start with and have to phone to have a pin provided. What angers me is Koodo is the only mobile provider I know of that charges you when you call them. Ummm.... $10 just to call to have this fixed, seems somewhat dodgy practice to me.

Call *611 and follow the voiceprompts to "reset my voicemail password"
This is make your voicemail password the same as your 10 digit phone number.
Keep us updated.
Hope this helps.

Oh and in regards to the service charges for calling in....
Koodo invested millions of dollars into designing a self serve service that is capable of doing 90% of all your daily doings.
You are only charged for calling in to do something that you could have done yourself on selfserve.
Hardly seems dodgy to me.

Umm... with no pin number I can't use selfserve to reset voicemail. I was never given one. Also the *611 has no option to reset voicemail in its menu, not to mention trying an option it asks for a security # of which I was never given either.

You are asked to create a 4-6 digit pin at the time of activation.
The sales person cannot proceed until you do.
So try your year of birth or any common pins you use.
You can call into *611 to reset your pin.
as this service is unavailable in self serve you will not be charged to do so.
Enjoy.

No problems... sorted it out. Finally got self serve to reset my password so all is good.
