I am using Samsung Galaxy S4 with Koodo and I have the voice mail icon-notification on my phone all the time, even I don't have any voice mails right now. Any ideas how I can get rid of this voice mail notification from my screen? thanks.

Try going to your Call app, then hit your menu key, and Call settings. I'm not 100% sure where the option is but there should be a setting to "clear voicemail notification".

If that doesn't work, using another phone call your cell number and leave a message. Then using your phone, call in and listen to / delete the messages. Wait a few minutes and the indicator should clear.

If not give Koodo a call and ask them to clear it for you. Don't worry, calling tech support is free.

I have the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy Ace IIxx - for me, it's every time I turn my phone on.

It's really annoying to try to retrieve a message that isn't there, then have to leave a fake voice mail to clear it.
