Voice booster charging 2:1, not true Canada-wide?

I just did a test. I asked my daughter to call Ottawa from Guelph. At the start, she had used 44 minutes out of 500. We talked for ~7 minutes. After hanging up, she had used 58 minutes, not 51 (44+7) as expected.

Is anyone else experiencing this 2:1 charging of long distance calls, when they are supposed to be Canada-wide?

Interesting, Patrick! I don't think I have that issue (I'm on prepaid too), but it's been posted here once or twice before... I'll flag your post for Koodo, because if this is indeed a bug for some accounts, they will certainly need to investigate.

My mother has a Prepaid device with Koodo and she hasn't experienced this. It may be a bug with Koodo Prepaid? Not sure, I'm sure Koodo Representatives will get on this asap.

Results are in! Started with 4 minutes used. Call duration: 8:30. Additional booster minutes charged: 18!!! This is more than 2:1. Call going in to Koodo.

To clarify, an 8:30 call raised my usage from 4 to 22, net increase of 18 (2x rate)
