I went into the prepaid self serve portal today.  Got a message that I needed to verify my email.  Had them send me a verification email.  Clicked on the link in the email and it doesn't work.  SO what now?

I had the same problem. I'll bring this to the attention of our group and see if they can come up with an explanation.

It took a few tries and I eventually received two confirmation emails. I managed to finally get it to work by copying and pasting the alternate link. The hyperlink marked 'link' didn't work. Try the copy/paste alternate link method and see if that works.

The copy and paste alternate link didn't work for me either.  I should have mentioned that in my original post.

Check your browser/email and firewall settings. My account was with my Live email and it wouldnt work and had to switch to getting it sent to Gmail and use Opera to activate. Also took like 3 days for it to arrive but my Self Serve still worked so it shouldnt hamper your access to your account.

The issue isn't on my end.  I received the verification email just fine.  The problem is that the links in that email don't work.

Whether I click on the hyperlink or use the copy-paste method, I get the same error message which is:

"Verify Email: Invalid Email ID Message"

Also, there's a specific reason why I want the account to be linked to this particular email.

Funny thing is that I changed my email (from the one I'd originally used to register for self serve) to the current one, almost a year ago, and it's only now that it's asking me for verification.

All of my self serve functionality seems to be unaffected (it's just as slow as usual, but it works).  The only thing I don't have, according to the onscreen message from Koodo is that "without a valid email, Koodo won't be able to contact you and you can't reset your Self Serve password if you forget it."

FYI, I just spoke with a human and they told me that the problem I encountered with email verification is a known issue and they're working on fixing it, but no timeline on when that's going to happen.
