I am flying into Vancouver airport from Singapore and then transiting to Calgary airport. Do you have a store in the Vancouver airport transit area to buy a prepaid SIM card?

It doesn't appear so. I don't speak from personal experience for Vancouver but I've been to. A few airports across Canada and none so far have had readily purchasable Sim cards within especially the transit area. Canada isn't cool like that sadly.

There are none at YVR that I know of.

One of the closest places to get a Prepaid Sim would be the Richmond Center. Its only about 5-6km away from the airport and has a Koodo Store, Best Buy, etc.

Better yet, sell them online, and allow the delivery address to be the choice of the traveller - including their hotel on arrival.
Just like Public Mobile does!

I would rather get them at the airport.

I might want data and stuff before I head out in the wild with no GPS

I never use cellular data for GPS. All my mapping is contained on the device. If necessary, the GPS can direct me to the nearest shop.

My guess is the return on sales in an airport are too low a return to be worthwhile.

Partner up with kiosks or Information booths at airports with international arrivals
