I have a telus iphone 4s. I have inserted my koodo sim card in it but it shows the sim is not valid.

It doesn't allow me to use the phone even after taking the sim card out.

Do I need to visit one of Koodo kiosk to get some help?

Do Koodo kiosks provide this kind of service (telus iphone 4s with Koodo sim card problem)?

Thanks,

Slee

Where did you get this iPhone?

Does the sim work in other devices?

I got it from my buddie who upgraded his phone to iphone 5s.

I have tried with my own sim card which is currently being used for Samsung galaxy mega from Koodo.

The sim card works great with my own device.

hmm I'm stumped, maybe try updating your carrier settings then rebooting your phone, it's worth a try.

It can what you have to do is insert your koodo sim card and resync your phone back to itunes. Make sure also you have the most recent version of itunes installed. When you do this the carrier settings will update in the phone automatically and it should work.

But, as we said recently, if your Koodo card doesn't work it means that the phone wasn't actually with Telus. Because usually, you just pop in the card and it works! Please confirm with your friend that the phone was with Telus and keep us posted!

The phone is with Telus and it works with Telus sim card. I just inserted my friend's Telus sim card and there is no problem.....

SIM not valid indicates that your iPhone 4s is locked with your current network . First, of all unlock your iPhone 4s from carrier lock . you can use Remote unlocking method to unlock it . you can get it from any of the online vendors like http://www.theunlockspot.com/apple-ip... to unlock it .
