Does this sound cool or what? Not sure if it's economically feasible or inline with device security policies but what if you could take your NFC enabled device, if you have one, and instead of sharing a picture or buying something, if you could visit Koodo Kiosks or set Koodo locations and have bonus content or features, ie unique ringtones and El Tabador pics, loaded to your phone based on your Koodo usage, or similar criteria.

Almost like a reward for being with Koodo. Hmm....

Could you not do the same simply by scanning a qr code? Nfc tags cost $ qr codes just cost ink or screen time.

Sure, why not, if NFC costs money, then QR all the way!!!! what do you think of that Chad? Has that been implemented anywhere already? QR codes to unlock bonus content, almost like playing a video game and you unlock a level up, or a POW! the good ol' days with my quarters at a laundrymat......

Maybe if device security is concerned, then have some protocols programmed for one way data provisioning, again if possible, and make the only criteria in order to be eligible is to establish that the customer's device is on a Koodo network. I'm just throwing it out there...

maybe an update to the free Koodo self serve app on Koodo customers' smartphones, using NFC or QR, that has the ability to, when connected to an official Koodo designated device, found only at Koodo kiosks, etc., unlock a bonus character screen shot or again, a unique ringtone, etc, ...hey i can keep going on and on...

...so many ideas...

anyone?
