i bought a used iphone 4s to replace abroken phone. the carrier listed is koodo 18.2 but the imei isnt registered in koodos records and will not accept my koodo sim card. so my question is 1.wtf? and 2. how do i fix it?
Thanks for visiting the community. As this is a public/user friendly forum, we would appreciate that you keep your language appropriate. It could be that you have to change the APN setting, here below are a few steps to follow.
- Inserts a Koodo Mobile SIM card in an unlocked iPhone or in a Koodo/Telus iPhone.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Cellular.
- Tap Cellular data network. Note: if cellular data network does not contain all the fields below, it means the customer doesn’t have the latest carrier settings (Koodo 18.1). To update carrier settings, connect to a Wi-Fi network, go to Settings-General-About and a pop-up will prompt user to update.
- Modify the APN values to match the table below:
Username: Leave blank.
Password: Leave blank.
