so..system is down...can't activate new customers? what kind of business are you running..and yes this is a question..actuallly we aren't even new customers...we just wanted to upgrade....SERIOUSLY

Excuse me UPSET CUSTOMER, guess you are new to the world where electronics is a big part of our lives. But just to help you out a little, most systems, unlike our human counterparts are extremely reliable. Yes they fail and it is a big pain when they do. However when our two legged friends miss the mark it takes ages to sort the problem out, think about it!!! Do you think you are the only one affected? If so POOR You!! Anyway, I am an electronics engineer, not on KOODO staff in any way shape or form, they don't even know me, but I will defend them since they have a 99.9% uptime. I think your attitude is unreasonable and I hope you don't have a drivers licence, tempers cause accidents for sure. KOODO is an excellent Canadian company and obviously I support Canadian wholeheartedly. Food for thought???. Have a nice day :)

an addition to RMB answers....I am willing to bet that they have people working on the issue (if anybody has reported it to tech support), because Koodo (and any other provider for that matter), does not like having upset customers, such as yourself.

Think about this - instead of saying that you are upset on here, a community forum where nobody has access to your account or can help except by giving advice, call tech support and see if they can help you, or to see if there is a known issue (as there may already be).

This happened on a lot of weekends when I was at Mobile Shop. They do a lot of maintenance on their systems and they try to limit it to off work hours - usually Saturdays at 9pm until Sunday 12 am but sometimes it leaked a little beyond that. A lot of times Telus/Koodo would offer a $25 bonus gift card if someone wanted to buy a phone during an extended outage so that was nice of them.

Then every once in a while it would go down randomly during the day but it was always fixed within hours and it was only once a month. I had it happen on Rogers/Fido and Bell/Virgin too, so yes, it's just a thing that happens. It was just inconvenient that it happened to you at that time you decided to get a phone. Don't need to be so negative about it.
Thank you Johnathan...I am done with my rant lol...and I guess its like everything else...most days great..some days not so much

Next time breathe in and out a few times before you get angry... Not worth your aggravation since you are leaving Koodo anyway. I try never to get upset with technology not working because there is always something that gets stubborn on me. Good luck in your future endeavors!
