Upgrading my iPhone

I have a brand new unlocked iPhone 5s from India. I checked if the IMEI number was compatible with all the Canadian service providers. Seems like its not compatible on any of the networks.

I have an iPhone 4 right now. Is it possible for Koodo to exchange the micro-sim for a nano sim which is compatible with the iPhone 5S and also could the phone work on the Koodo network despite the IMEI number not being compatible.

You cannot exchange your existing SIM. A new nan-SIM is $10 and can be purchased at any Koodo kiosk or retail partner (such as BestBuy or Mobile Shop).

Your Indian iPhone will work on Koodo's HSPA network, but you will not get any LTE.

Koodo uses HSPA 850/1900 and LTE (Band 4) 2100 so if your phone is compatible with those frequencies it will work if it's not then it won't.
As far as the SIM Card situation you'll have to buy a new card that's the proper size. If your on a post paid plan then it's $10 for a card or prepaid is $20 but has $20 worth of credits that are included.
You can switch to the new card on self serve or they may be willing to do it at the kiosk you purchased the new card.
