I purchased a used iPhone 4s and I'm trying to put in the sim card from my old phone. Through self serve I go to 'swap phones', and 'upgrade my current phone'. They are the same size cards. Then it asks me for my sim number and says its already in use by my old phone. Is there a way to suspend service to the old phone without reporting it lost or stolen? Do I need a new sim card for the iPhone?

If it same size, you don't have to do anything.
You just put your sim into new phone.
When I put the old sim card in the iPhone, it searches for a while and ends up with No Service. If I put the sim card back in the old nokia it works fine
got it, 3g was off. thanks
