Im looking to upgrade my phone from my moto g gen 1 to the new OnePlus 3. I know the only place to get the OP3 is through their website. The moto g has micro sim while the OP3 has nano sim, so I was wondering if I get this phone will I be able to keep my current number on a new sim card. Also would I have to bring my new phone into a koodo store to get a new sim card? If I can't keep my number, will I have to cancel my current phone and start over fresh? (Im fine with changing numbers if I have too, I was just curious). A little confused, any help would be great!

You would simply go and buy the new Sim and bring it home and put it in your new phone, all your account info gets swapped to the new Sim and the old one becomes useless.

Awesome, so I just have to go into any koodo store or can I do this online? The nearest store to me is a couple hours away. Thanks for the help!

You would have to purchase a SIM at a Koodo outlet. They are not available online.

In addition, you would need to go online to your self-serve account, and change your phone / SIM by updating the account with the number on the new SIM. This will associate the new SIM with your account, and leave things as they are now.

Search for some of the other Upgrade my Phone or Change SIM topics for more details.

Hey Henry, is there a retailer such as a Walmart or Best Buy near you? You can take a look here -> http://koo.do/1YM8LhV
