I'm travelling from Canada to the US and added a TXT30 to my service....but wishing I had added the phone minutes as well. Can I add that and only be charged the $45 or will they add the $45 to my bill on top of the $20 I just paid for texting? It costs $10 to contact Koodo to ask the question and they might tell me I have to pay the extra anyway so I'm wondering if anyone out in the community knows.

It doesn't cost anything to call and ask questions. The only time you are charged is if you ask customer service to make a change that you could have made yourself. And they always inform you before they do anything that a charge may be levied a d how much it is.
Well, this is difficult. I phoned two days ago and it was really difficult to get the machine to take my number to phone me back. The voice recognition didn't work at all. Finally, I was able to get it to accept my phone number and they said they would phone me back in 15 minutes. That didn't happen. Nor did they phone back the next day. I just tried again. Again the voice recognition was not working and I had to key in my phone number twice before it would take it. Now there is a 45 minute wait....and I am waiting for them to phone me back. I am not impressed.
1 hour and 10 minutes.... still waiting. soooo not impressed!

People wait all the time to deal with day to day problems. This is how life is. However, way before that point I would have hung up and called again. If you were waiting that long, then your call must have gotten "lost" in que cause I've had times where I recalled and a rep answered right away or within a few minutes.

Also, don't use the voice recognition if it isn't working properly/hearing you properly and use the touch-tone. Stop making it more difficult for yourself when you don't have to.
