Anyone up to give me advice or opinions on which phone to get would be much appreciated! Taking into account the difference is battery, software, size and durability, has left me undecided and stuck.

I currently have an extremely warn down Samsung Galaxy S3, and need to upgrade within the next month or so.

I was just having this discussion with my brother.

Battery -hands down it is the Note 4.
Durability - Get a Case. Though the non removable battery in the S6 with the aluminium may be more durable
Software - Not that much diff in the software. It's all Touchwhiz
Size - Is bigger better?

Both are very comparable so really I'd say it comes down to what feels more comfortable in your hand and if using your phone one handed is important to you. I have large hands being a 6'6" 300lbs guy and my Note 4 frustrates me at times since it's hard to use one handed even with the one handed software tricks like shrinking the display down which is good in theory but still not as easy as holding a smaller device.

From your last post you stated that more than 32gb of storage is important to you and the Note 4 offers expandable storage through an SD card Which the S6 does not as you know so that might be a reason to check out the Note 4. The battery is removable if that's important to you as well.

There's also the S-Pen if drawing or taking quick notes is important to you.
I'd suggest going to a store and holding Josh devices in hand and get a feel for what you think would suit you better.

For me the Note 4 feels a little too big to hold and carry around. I'm a teen boy whom of which only wears jeans and shorts... so having the size be either awkward or not fit in my pocket is a real worry of mine.

Battery is definitely Note 4 like you said, and I plan on keeping the device for 2-4 years, so having the ability to replace the battery after a couple years would keep it running smoothly. Probably the unimpressive battery within the S6 is the biggest factor keeping me from deciding to get it, sadly enough.

I would definitely get a case, and to this day I have never dropped my phone haha.

My S3 has been full of problems and has broken down numerous times. The battery is absolutely shot as well.

Yeah I do feel like I need more storage than 32, as I have 10gb of music, 10gb of pictures right off the bat. I think overall it's going to come down to what one will be the easiest to use, and give me the least amount of problems. The note 4 is a solid phone is every area and way but how it holds means a ton to me, so I'll go into my local mall, find the phones on display and spend sometime really going in depth.

Nexus phones are great! But not really what I'd buy at this point. The Nexus 5 has nothing that stands out for me, and the Nexus 6 is much too huge.

You get used to the size pretty fast. Yes it's not as easy to carry around, but I was able to fit it in my pockets even with the spigen slim armor case on. Battery life is definitely the best on the Note 4, it lasted me the whole day easy. Expandable memory is a plus for you too, since it means you'll have less issues carrying around your music.

Another consideration is the HTC M9. I know it's not in the comparison, but I will vouch for it. While not as impressive as the M8 was last year, it is slimmer than the Note 4 but retains 32gb internal memory and microSD slot. Battery is untested since it's not out yet, but it should be similar to the M8, which was pretty great when I had it. It looks sexy, built well (metal), has awesome speakers and Sense is a joy to use over Touchwiz, methinks. It's not out yet but all the reviews say it's a minor change from the M8 (which isn't a bad thing).

I agree with Jonathan and think the HTC ONE M9 would actually be a perfect fit for you Jordano, that is unless you take alot of low light pictures but if you take most pics outside during the day then the M9 should definitely be in your options of devices.

Thank you all for your suggestions and input, this gives me much more insight, I'll definitely add the M9 to my options.

I looked all around and read up quite a bit, and I feel for me as an individual, the s6 is a clear winner over the m9, but that's just me. I do have to admit though that the m9 is in my top 3 phones to consider haha. It does got a really great design, but camera could be better in my opinion.
