Unwanted calls missing a digit

I keep getting unwanted calls that I can't block due to a digit missing on call display. Example 1-780-727-414 is what comes up....so it can't be blocked.  I know this is a scammer as I was able to answer the call today and I told them to remove me from their calling list as I do not have a credit card and the caller asked me how old I was and told me he loves me ect....I hung up, however they call me several times a day.  Is there away to get these calls to stop?

Hi Sherry,
Which phone are you using?
I don't think the +1 should make any differences in phone. Have you tried to put the plus (+) before number 1, and see if you can block it?

I did have the Samsung S7 and now I am with the Essentials....it isn't the phone it is the fact that this spammer somehow has the last digit of their phone number missing so by just clicking the block on the number doesn't help.  It has nothing to do with the +1, you are correct in that....I just put it there as it was the way the call display shows the number

I would just block them one by one. I bet they cannot have more than 10-20 numbers to call you.

A little more sophisticated than most on-phone blockers:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mrnumber.blocker

Other options with similar apps listed on that page.

You should be able to add that number to your contact list and then block it. It doesn’t have to be a 10 digit number. Worked for me.

I will try that too.  Thank you.

Well one way but is gonna be tedious, you could block all 10 possibilities, and i would try reporting it to Koodo customer service first and ask their advice(611) hope this helps.

I might have to do that, however not really sure how, as I normally just block the number when they call.  That might be a possibility too.  Thank you.
