unregistered sim card :(

I switched over to koodo yesterday, however since your systems were down my phone wasn't able to register on the koodo network. The guy at the koodo kiosk, told me that if it doesn't register by today to call in or pop back to the store to have it fixed. I'd just like to know if your systems are still down? before I drive all the way back to the store.

Their system is back now, I think it actually came back yesterday afternoon. Check out this thread and follow their advice: http://community.koodomobile.com/kood...

If it doesn't work still it may be the sim.

There was indeed a system outage for maintenance/upgrades over the weekend that affected both Telus and Koodo but it's been fixed now... I find it odd that the guy at the kiosk even said that it should be working by a certain point because no activations could be processed whatsoever during that time frame.

Call customer service and try again before heading down to the store.
