I recently purchased an IPhone4 at a Koodo store, paying off our Samsung. Giving our Samsung to a family member, he tried to use it at his server, Telus. They said it was not unlocked and they couldn't use it. I paid for it. Why does Koodo still have anything to do with it?
Because it was locked to Koodo, the only phone that comes already unlocked when you buy it is the Nexus 4, otherwise, in general, doesnt matter if you buy a phone from bell , koodo, rogers or whatever, the phone will be locked to them and you need to unlock it to use it on an other network. Koodo can do it, or there s plenty of websites that ll do it as well.
