I am buying a phone from Amazon: http://www.amazon.ca/UNLOCKED-LG-Opti...

This states the phone should work with Koodo but I just want to make sure I will be able to use this phone on your network before I buy it.
I've had a bad experience with buying a phone on ebay previously & telus would not take the phone because it ran with a different signal or something.

Yup that than one will work
Pop your sim card in and search network operators and you'll be good to go

Looking at the link you posted, the frequencies shown can work on Koodo.

it was one of my first Android phones, decent phone for a first time non power user, as long as you do some house keeping.
