unlocked windows phones compatibility

koodomobile.com used to have a page with the technical details about their phone network but I can't find it anymore

1. What are the spec requirements for an unlocked phone to connect to koodo's phone and data networks?  If I remember right it should be HSPA 850/1900 MHz and LTE 1700/2100 GHz (band 4).  Can somebody confirm this for me?

2. If a phone says it is "HSDPA 850/1900" is that the same thing as HSPA, or incompatible?

thanks

willmyphonework.net is also a handy tool for checking if a given phone is compatible.

So a Nokia Lumia 830 (RM-985) should work?  Specs sheet says:

LTE FDD network: Band 17 (700MHz), Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 4 (1700/2100 MHz), Band 5 (850MHz), Band 7 (2600 MHz)

3G WCDMA network: Band 1 (2100 MHz), Band 2 (1900 MHz), Band 5 (850 MHz), Band 8 (900 MHz)
edit: willmyphonework.net says that Lumia 830 RM-983 and RM-985 work on Koodo, but according to microsoft support pages, RM-984 (international version) works on HSDPA 850/1900 (however wrong bands for LTE) and the other two only on WCDMA 850/1900.  Is that website is correct?  Is HSDPA network backwards compatible for a WCDMA phone to work?

edit2: they used to sell Lumia 830 RM-985 at telus and Koodo uses Telus network so that should be the one that works... right?
