Unlimited text messages add on unavailable?

Is unlimited messaging add on not available anymore ? I dont see it in add-on section of self-serve.

I am a 2 year old customer and I dont have unlimited messaging in my initial plan. I need unlimited messaging now but it seems impossible on self-serve and Koodos charge you for calling customer service. These messages are ripping me off at 15cents per message.
Please suggest a way out.

All plans include unlimited messaging now. And Koodo DOES NOT CHARGE CUSTOMERS FOR CALLING IN.

To be precise, I guess, they will charge you for stuff that you can do yourself online. So, technically adding something to your plan by calling does have a charge as per their website.

@Akshay You maybe better off to switch to the new plans, prices are higher but you do get more as well.

That's correct Chris. If the customer wants Koodo to make a change the customer can do themselves on Self Serve, then there's a charge.

Thanks for the response guys.

I guess it is one of those things which is not very well defined. I see this in my bill :

The following charges apply if you choose to call Customer Service:
Rate plan or add-on change $10*

Also, since I dont see any option of adding 'unlimited messaging' add-on in self-serve I guess I have no other way but to call customer care to confirm what is going on with my ancient plan.

Dude, just change your rate plan. You can do that yourself.

The Unlimited messaging Add-on is no longer available since all Current Plans have unlimited messaging included with the plan.

If you want to have unlimited messaging, unfortunately you have to change your plan to a current one like Myke & Chris said

Hi Akshay
I used to had a $15 plan + $5 unlimited messaging + $5 Call Display Add-on.
It gave me 50 minutes talk time and only 50 text.

Koodoès current $30 give you 100 minutes, Unlimited Evenings(5pm) and Weekends, Unlimited Messaging, Call Display, Voicemail,,,,etc

So I think it is a good time to change your plan. You can do this by using Self serve.

I like it. Give it a more Mexican sound. Like how El Tabador would say it in Spanish
