I would like to see unlimited india add on for $ 10 or 500 mins for $5.
As of currently add on, 20$ for 1000 mins seems overpriced.
There has been a idea supposed for unlimited calling and it shows the idea has been implemented but i could not find it either on app or self serve website.

Also another question is if Koodo gives unlimited calling add on, can i activate the add on and make calls and then deactivate after i am done calling and pay the portion of the add on that is < $1 if unlimited per month is 20$ for unlimited.

What they implemented was the India add-on. 1,000 minutes a month not unlimited though. To be honest, over 16 hours a month seem perfectly normal for the average person to call overseas. Anything more and one would be better off moving there.:-)

What they charge for the add-on of course will always be debated as most of would rather pay as close zero dollars as possible.:-) of course, that's not going to happen, after all they are business and they can charge whatever they want or customers willing to pay.

Yes I know 16 hours is enough and it's business. Koodo has offered unlimited calling for low as 10$ for few counties. Wind also has offered unlimited India calling in past for very low amount and again the service does not play part in this. It will be the same call made from either networks to a same destination. I just don't see why one can offer this and other can't. Argument for higher prices is only valid when we are talking coverage in canada for telus vs wind which justifies higher prices but for add-ons I don't see why can't

One company wants to make money. The other (Wind) is on the verge of bankruptcy. Written down to $0 value by their own parent company. That's the difference.

I can't say this would really happen, but...
You might pay less than $1 for that call, but I don't think you can use the "unlimited add-on" again in the rest of that month.

Interesting! I have done it with international long distance saver where I subscribed , made call, deactivated and was changed few cents for add-on which was $2 for the whole month and for a day it's negligible. Thanks btw.

There add-on is useless because a person can simply dial #100 and make international call and gets charged .5 cent per minutes same as add-on. The number is for Telehop through which koodo and telus make their international calling.
