On some of the plans Unlimited evenings and weekends start at 7pm or 5pm. Does that include incoming calls?
There is a talk and text plan that is 25$ a month that does not have unlimited incoming calls.
Just a bit confused :S

Hi DeAnne,

If you check on the website it will show the unlimited incoming. Your airtime is not affected when you receive an incoming call.

All minutes used on evenings and wekeends (incoming or outgoing) are free if you have a plan that has unlimited evenings and weekends... The talk and text plan has unl eve/wknd at 7pm, so all calls in and out after 7pm until 8am are no charge, and don't eat in to your minute allotment of 200

Hi DeAnne,

The $25 plan (7pm/weekend) includes unlimited calls, but only for those time slots - all other incoming calls (so during week days) count against your minutes.

The 5pm/unlimited incoming means all calls after 5pm and in the weekend are included, both incoming and outgoing. However, during weekdays only outgoing calls count against your minutes, not incoming ones.

Hope that clarifies it a bit :)
Thank you Everyone!

No. The unlimited time frame is only referring to airtime.

Enylazir, when did you take out a Koodo plan? If it was within the last year or so, chances are unlimited texting is already included in your plan :)

Just want to make sure that if I receive an incoming call from the US that I will not be billed for it being on the $35 with unlimited calling between 5pm and 8am.

I'm pretty sure that is a canada wide plan so receiving an incoming call from the US will not get you any LD charges. Also if you receive the call during your unlimited calling time frame then receiving the call will be completely free.
Edit: did you mean the $34 plan? You should still make sure that your plan is canada wide. I believe you can check in self serve.:)

If your plan is not Canada wide, as long as you're in your local calling area you are not charged extra for receiving calls regardless of where it originates (Tokyo, Sydney or even the USA). Same applies for the Canada wide plans but you can be anywhere in Canada with those.

Now if it's not in your evenings and weekends daytime minutes apply (like any other call), but if you're in your evenings and weekend time, as long as your in the proper area (from my first paragraph) it's completely free to receive a call.
