Unlimited incoming calls add-on - worth it?

Is there any way I can find out my average number of incoming minutes over the last few billing cycles? I would like to figure out if I should stay with my add-on for unlimited incoming calls or move to a different plan.

What plan are you on now? With unlimited incoming add on, any incoming calls are not deducted from your rate plans minutes.

You can check your airtime usage in self serve!!

There's no such average calculated by Koodo, but you can look on your last bills to see how many minutes you used per month. But this wouldn't be conclusive because if you have, say, 200 minutes, you will conditionate yourself not to use more then 200 minutes. Therefore, this ``statistic`` wouldn't be aproriate.

Ask yourself : Did you see the need to use more minutes per month?

PS: You can also add the add-on for one month and see how many minute you are talking and the judge by yourself if this is really necessary!

Ok, yes, i got a deal called "double 30" a while back. I get 200 mb of data and 150 anytime minutes. I kept going over those minutes so i added the unlimited incoming calls add-on. Now I'm finding I'm still going over, so I'm considering going to one of the present plans that gives me 300 anytime minutes. I was merely asking if there was any efficient way of finding out how many incoming call minutes i have been using - or how many minutes in total for that matter, other than counting through my past bills (pain in the butt). I figure that 300 minutes will probably cover me though.

Ohhhh. I missread the ``incoming`` part. Yeah, it is a pain in the butt doing it, but hey, you could try adding the unlimited incoming to see how this works. Becasue once you change to a new plan, there is no going back. So you could try some things before chaging definitely. Also, is there one persone you are speaking the most? If so, there is a good chance that unlimited incoming might be for you. juste tell that person to call you everytime like that there's a lot of your minutes that will be incoming!

Robert, she said that she added incoming minutes already. She's still going over and is trying to figure out whether she should switch to a new plan. She was hoping to find out how many minutes of incoming calls she generally gets so she can figure out what new plan would work best for her.

Another possibility, Katharina is to cancel the incoming minutes add-on and buy the 5 essentials add-on for the same $10 price.. As an "add on", it won't require a change of plan.

5 essentials allows you designate 5 people that you call the most and -- for $10 monthly -- you have unlimited calls to and from them. If most of your calls are to the same small group of people, this might be a better add-on if there are features of your current plan that you don't want to lose by switching to a new plan. Even if you yakked away for 500 or more minutes a month to your 5 fave peeps, you'd still have your current 150 anytime minutes for other calls.

Hope you find this helpful

I misread the problem twice -_-

I though she mean unlimited calls! I'm sorry about the confusion I might've created! This is why I didn't understand the "going over" part. I asked myself, how could she go over if she has unlimited calls. I thought she meant she went over her 150 minutes allowed.

Anyways, Katharina do what he suggested before switching plans!

I agree with Elinor. If you are still going over with the "unlimited incoming" add-on, 5 essentials might be better choice for you.
