If they are accidental roaming charges. Call in and explain the situation(politely). You will be credited for the accidental roaming.

Emphasis on the word, "politely". It is not the Koodo Reps' fault so please do not get angry with them. They should be happy to credit the accidental roaming.

Your phone connected to a US tower. That's why you got charged for roaming. Koodo has no way of knowing that you were on the Canadian side of the border. If you call and TELL them, the charges will be reversed as a matter of policy. What is unfair is getting mad at Koodo for not correcting something YOU did not tell them about.

You can easily prevent this for the next time. Turn your network on manual settings and select koodo.

All phone companies close to the border suffer somewhat from the powerful American towers.
