I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 and my plan doesn't include data. I didn't think I used any data, but according to my bill, I used .044 mb, and was charged $5.00. Could this have resulted from not turning my Wifi off and it automatically looked for service? Any other possibilities?
If you have a talk and text plan then you still have the ability to use data its just not included in the price if the plan. When you turn on data to send or receive MMS (picture messages) you sent charged for the data used to send or receive those but if you have any widgets on your home screens like weather or flipboard ect those will use data as soon as you turn on data on your phone. Also if you haven't signed out of all apps such as Facebook or email ect those will take data once your not on WiFi and you turn data on
