Underwhelmed with Callback Service

What is the point of the callback service offered by the Koodo hotline?

I called around 7:45 pm and was told that there would be a wait time of around 1 hour, so I decided to take advantage of the callback that was offered. "At least 45 minutes", I was told. 45 minutes went by, one hour went by, two hours went by, five hours went by - I received the callback just before 1 am (about 55 minutes after midnight!). I was still up, so I took the call, and confirmed that I was me myself.

Then I found myself in a queue, again.

I can tell you that after 50 minutes the music starts to repeat. After 90 minutes on hold you are kicked out of the queue and sent back to start: Press 1 for this, press 2 for that, and so forth. The voice that interrupts the music is now female, instead of the erstwhile male. I don't know if that is a good or bad sign.

I probably could have had that experience much earlier in the evening. Why do we have to do this at 2:30 am?

Hello Daniel.

That is very unfortunate...I think it's a bug in the callback because there is no one available to take your call at that time. That would explain why you waited once you got the callback.
