Unable to send emails but am able to receive them

I am receiving emails but unable to send new emails or respond to the incoming emails.

Set the outgoing server to smtp.telus.net, port 25, no authentication. This will work over 3G, although it may not always work over wifi.

If your settings already look what Timo suggested, try deleting/removing the email account from your phone and resetting it up.
