Unable to register for refer a friend. Log in ok but verify my mobile number I get error message This mobile number is already in use.

Unable to register for refer a friend.
I am able to sign-in ok but then get pop up that asks me to verify my mobile number.
I enter my phone number & get the error message  "This mobile number is already in use."
I am using the refer a friend website.
I am unable to register to send anyone an email or text to refer them

I tried the contact us to refer department but the reply back was more generic on how to do it & where friend logs in.
I can't even get to that point.
I have never used this email or tel # on Koodo postpaid. I think it's the same tel# i had on pre-paid.

So you are a prepaid customer?, Refer a friend is only for postpaid customers "Both you and your referrals must have postpaid accounts – the program is not available to prepaid customers. "

Do you have more than 1 active Koodo postpaid account? If you do it sounds like you're trying to enter a phone number associated with a different account than you're logging in with.

Hi. I'm post paid. New account. I used to have a prepaid years ago so thought I'd mention in case it made a difference

If you don't have more than 1 account, are you sure you're entering your number correctly?

Also only have one account and one phone number with good post paid. (Joined about 2 months ago)
Other account still with public mobile.

You might need to contact the Refer-a-friend directly and ask them to fix it. it looks like your phone number was attached to another account or your registration had some issues there.https://referafriend.koodomobile.com/common/contact.pg
