Unable to purchase new phone on old account.

I am trying to upgrade my Nexus 4 and purchase a new phone through Koodo.  I login to self-serve and then select the phone I wish to purchase.  However, it tells me I must add a new plan to my account because my current plan is inapplicable.  This happens when I select both Tab small and Tab medium.  Been using the same account since April 2008 and never had this issue before.
