Unable to pay off tab balance

I have $15 left on my tab, and the website won't allow me to pay it off. I have been with koodo for much longer than 3 months, so I'm a bit confused as to what's preventing me. I'd like to get the iPhone 8 after paying off my tab.

When I press the Pay My Tab button a prompt pops up, telling me based on my profile that I'm not eligible for 3 reasons:
  • Haven't been with Koodo for 3 months (2 years I have)
  • Haven't paid off my first bill
  • On the spending limit program (for $15?)

Yes, it seems something wasn't right in your case. You would need to contact Koodo to ask about it. If you don't want to wait on phone as Mats suggested, you could try messaging to their facebook/twitter.

I'll try that. I just want to purchase the iPhone 8 Red, since its available with the online offer.

@Innocent - if you're looking to purchase a new phone, the remaining tab payment will automatically be added to your next bill once you complete check-out. No need to call, you can just proceed with your purchase online. In the meantime, I'll flag this with our team to get more info. as to why you can't actually pay off the balance, in the event that you weren't looking to purchase a new phone.

I also tried to pay off my $215 Essential phone tab balance and got the same 3  reasons Nicimpayet got. I plan to keep my $35/1G plan with Koodo, but would like to pay off my phone. My credit is good.

Incidentally, I have seen people say there is no more locking , I got my phone in March and checked Variant on my Essential phone and it says Telus - DeviceState - Locked.

So much for no locking.
