Unable to change plan without having to upgrade phone.

I am currently trying to change my plan but once I pick the the plan it then asks me to pick a phone but I already have a phone. It won't just let me pick the plan. I have cleared my tab.
The $38 plan is the one I want.

You have to log into self-serve to change your plan and do it from there. Not from the shopping page(s)

I am logged in, I just took the screenshot after logging out because it included my name and number.

Hi there....

After logging in, on the top, click on Self Serve, then go to phone services, you should have the option to change your plan there...

Note that is better to change your plan at the end of the billing cycle to avoid partial charges (proration).

Im having a similar problem right now. I want to switch to the $35 promo plan with 1 gb of data but I don't see thhis plan when I tried to switch it within my self serve account. I see this plan when I go back to the main website but its not showing up as an option when I want to go change it in my self serve account.

Do you guys actually live in the province which it is offered? Its a province specific plan.

If you do live in the province and still can't see it when going to change plns via self-serve, then its because you're on an old plan. If you're on an old plan, you need to call *611 from your Koodo phone in order to switch plans. If you have an existing tab, it MUST be paid off first. No if's, and's or but's.

Yes I do live in the province it's offered in... and in order to change our plan we can't have a tab for our phone ? Because I don't ow nothing on my bill... but when I got my phone the person who sold it to me told me I could change my plan once a month ?

It has nothing to do with owing money on your bill. If you have an existing tab, it has to be paid off. The tab is the subsidy you got on your phone when you first signed up. You can change your plan at anytime to any of the old plans offered before April 19th which is what you see when you go and change plans on self-serve. You have to call in, pay off your tab and then you can change to a new plan. If you don't have a tab, then you can just change your plan. But either way, you have to call-in to do it.
