Ugh...another roaming question

I'm sorry, I know this has been asked a lot but not sure it's been answered for me to totally understand.  I'm roaming internationally with Easy Roam, I get that the fee is capped at $100 but does that result in all phone use being paused or no?  I ask as under the "Travel and Roaming" section I see this:
  • For international destinations, the $10/day fee is capped at $100 per billing cycle. That means you can continue to use your phone plan without additional Easy Roam fees.
However, when using Self Serve and logging into my account, under Pay Per Use Data Roaming alerts I see this:

"You'll get alerts when the account's total pay-per-use (PPU) data roaming charges reach $25, $50, and $75 in a billing cycle. At $100, PPU roaming data will be paused for the overall account. Only users with permissions or access to Self Serve can unpause data and allow more PPU roaming charges for the account."

I'm hoping Easy Roam is totally different than Pay Per Use?  Just want to make sure that once I've reached $100 in Easy Roam charges, my phone will still continue to function as before reaching the $100 cap.

Lastly, what is a premium message as apparently that isn't included in Easy Roam, really hope that doesn't mean sending pictures by text through your phones default texting app?

Thanks!

Pay-per-use (PPU) data roaming charge is not the same thing as Easy Roam. So you're still going to be able to use your phone after reach gin that 100$. Premium texting is texts service that you pay for. So don'T worry, you'll still be able to send pictures.

Basically, what it means is, you will be charged $7 or $10/day depending where you are going, but it will cap at $100, once you get to your monthly DATA cap, if will stop or you can continue at another charge, as if you were here in Canada.

it is completely possible to be overseas for 10 days ($100 cap) and not use your monthly allotment for data.

ok 1st Premium messages are : text system for FM radio like : text Vegas to 959959 and get a chance to win a free trip to Vegas with Virgin Radio

The cap is 100$ but you can manually override the "pause" if you want to use it but beware you'll be charged over the 100$ limit: if you use it for 30 days that's 300$

Last thing, the cap is for the account as a hole, if you have 3 lines and all 3 are roaming then no more services once the account hit the $100 mark. But if you're alone abroad and the 2 remaining lines are in Canada; their service remain unchanged while your roaming add-on "pause" your services.

Hope that helps

Cheers

@TJ I thought once you hit the cap you get to keep using your services like normal without being charged additional $7/$10 per day through the remainder of your billing cycle.

@Tj from "Things to Know" section of the Easy Roam page:
  • For U.S. destinations, the $7/day fee is capped at $100 per billing cycle. That means you can continue to use your phone plan without additional Easy Roam fees.
  • For international destinations, the $10/day fee is capped at $100 per billing cycle. That means you can continue to use your phone plan without additional Easy Roam fees.
Does this not contradict what you posted above?

Very contradicting. It's capped at $100 per billing cycle. You can't be charged more unless you have used more than what your plan has. That's what a cap is, a max.

I also doubt the info that the $100 cap is for an account no matter how many lines are on it. Each line pays a monthly fee so why would each line not have a $100 cap. Was just confusing and I don't have more than 1 line on my account so who knows.

Each line is capped at 100$. That's how I see this.

OK, so Pay Per Use is different than Easy Roam.  I figured as much but with things like this I'd rather ask a dumb question vs getting a big surprise after a long trip.

I totally understood that once reaching my plans monthly data cap, for instance, I'd have to pay to exceed it, just wasn't 100% sure if reaching the money cap ($100) would result in my services stopping and having to pay more to continue using my phone.  I'm glad that's not the case.  Roaming setups like this was the only thing bringing me back to a mainstream cell provider so glad I wasn't wrong with how it works.
