Hey there,

My partner and I just bought 2 iphone 4s along with a 2 year plan for our daughters this past week. We have the most basic talk and text plan for them with a data block on both phones so they need to be on wifi to use any internet related stuff. However, we were wondering if there was an option to easily suspend cellular usage on either phone easily via the koodo account website in case we need to block either one or both of the girls from being able to use their phones... Thanks!

On self serve go to the Mobile phones tab and in the Lost/Stolen phone section you can suspend service.

Note that this service is specifically for Lost/Stolen phones. And that you will need to call into Koodo to restore service (which can be a hassel). Also note that you will still be responsible for the full monthly bill while your service is suspended

Thank you so much for the response! Does it cost anything to have Koodo restore the service? And can I make the call from any phone or does it have to come from the phone whose service was suspended? Thank you for your help!

No it does not.
This function is more for security reasons if you have a Lost/Stolen phone so as not to have a stranger rack up a huge bill if they use your phone.
