If my tab has been paid off, am I able to sell my phone, or would it be locked to koodo? I went to the unlock my phone screen, and the message I keep getting is "Just a heads up! We're unable to retrieve an unlock code or programming instructions for your Koodo phone. Your account has not been charged an Unlock Fee. If you have questions, please call Customer Service at 1-866-99-KOODO (1-866-995-6636) or *611 from your Koodo phone.
Any recommendations on what I should do? I had bought a different phone already second hand from someone and have my sim card in that phone and it is working fine...

What phone are you trying to unlock?

You could also just call that phone number you were provided, explain to the associate the error you receive and they would be able to assist you with getting your unlock code.

You need to call the number they gave for unlocking an iPhone as its a different process than Android which just uses a code to unlock.

Ok thanks! I shall try calling the number provided, as it's an iPhone, I just know Koodo tends to have everything electronic so figured I'd see if there was anything else I could do first!

That's a good reflex! But for iPhone, like Paul said, you need to call in as there's no unlock code for that phone but the unlock is done directly with Apple.
