trying to claim the 0$ essential phone offer

I am trying to claim the 0$ essential phone offer, but it continues to come up as 100$ owing, is there something I am missing? I am trying to order one for both my husband and myself

Did you log into your self serve account then from there access the webstore?

yes, I was logged in on my account, shows all my info went as far as confirming my address, and still showing 100$ owed

Hmm, its working for me. As well as Paul's comment also note that you need to get the Essential Phone on tab medium and you have to be upgrading your phone, not adding a line.
As well you need to have the offer available to you in self serve.

I am upgrading my phone, on a tab medium. How do I know if it is available in Self serve, and if it isn't what would be a reason for it not being available, as I meet all the other criteria?

If eligible you will see this little star in the top right corner when you're logged into selfserve.

Interesting, I don't have that. 
Well that's a major piss off. Not sure if you know, but why would some be eligible and not others? It shows me the offer when I log in but not that star

so according to bernard's reply in the previous post, if I was just to pay it, I would be able to get it refunded on my account, am I reading that correctly?

That's a different case. The poster there has the offer for the essential phone but also has a positive tab balance and both credits aren't being applied to their bill.
