I purchased an iPhone thinking it was a good deal, but didn't realize that the "150" towards new phone had been included. I called to cancel, left a message. I tried to cancel via website, I called again in the afternoon. Now I have a Taking order!!! not impresses at all

Hi DG0105.

I'm not sure I understand your issue. You got a good deal on an iPhone, and you are thinking that because it included your $150 credit from the old positive tab plan, it's NOT a good deal?

If you are looking to cancel, you can try contacting Koodo via FB or Twitter DM. If it had already been shipped, you can refuse the shipment once it arrives.

From what I know, the Webstore is backlogged due to the back to school deals.

The point is, no explanation on how or when the “Koodo” tab credit gets applied. I assumed as anyone would that I would get 150 off the shown price.

No where did I see any explanation of how the credit gets applied. So I assumed that somewhere through the checkout process I would see an applied credit of 150. But nothing, so I ended up ordering the phone.

Logged out.... out of curiosity checked koodos phone price while logged out I noticed it was more.

As it dawned on me that the 150 had already been included in the discounts. I logged into koodo’s immediately looking for the cancel order button. I don’t think koodos has one. That’s odd no facility to cancel order. Then tried calling, left message, called again.

Koodo’s should do a better job of explaining that the price you are looking at is with credits applied, the 150 should show up on the order (not lumped in with something else) and an easy way to cancel, preferably before it’s at your house. Unless this is by design.

In all the online ordering I have done, I have never seen 'an easy way to cancel' once the submission has been made - it would always mean contacting the supplier directly.

I thought the information contained in this FAQ was sent to all those affected.

Not sure I follow DG. I see that you received an activation credit of $165 and put $360 on Tab medium. That is indeed a sweet deal. What is missing if I may ask?

I THINK he was thinking that his $150 tab credit was going to be added ON TOP of the prices shown, not included in them. I could be wrong on that though.

Basically that it didn't clearly state that the tab prices he was seeing INCLUDED his credit.

The activation credit is where it was added. I agree that messaging has to be clearer on that. DG got 150 plus $15, sort of as extra.
