I'm travelling to Iceland on business for 5 days. My account says I already have International Voice Roaming and International Data Roaming (each a $0 monthly add-on). Does that mean I can forgo buying the extra International Roaming Add-On (one is text only for $15, the other has minimal text/data/mins for $40)? How does this work?

That's for if you don't want to pay the pay per use rate and save save a bit on outgoing texts. Personally I suggest getting a local Sim for cheap data. You can use Fongo or Textnow for calls back to Canada or messaging apps.

A lot of useful information can be found here : http://prepaid-data-sim-card.wikia.com/wiki/European_Union

@ Roni While yo could indeed go with what the fellows above suggested, there are a few steps that make it slightly more complicated, like unlocking your phone etc. If you want to worry less about those things indeed the easiest solution is to grab one of our add-on for the few days you are going.

I am going to Europe for a week in a week and have Koodo prepaid. What is the addon I can get for such a trip. I plan to only use it for very quick and short calls.

Prepaid roaming options are available for the USA only.
