While traveling Europe, I don't want to have to worry about paying 60 cents a text or $1.50 a minute to make a phone call. Is there some other kind of plan besides the "Pay Per Use Intl Long Distance/International Voice Roaming" add on?

Will you be traveling to various places in Europe, Paul? Most countries have excellent prepaid packages for just about any situation, or if you will be visiting more than one country, look at global roaming providers such as Truphone, Piranha or eKit. I'd never use a Canadian SIM card over there :)

You should definitely unlock your phone and use a prepaid service there even if you're there for 1 week. Your phone will come in handy a lot of times for searching small things. Plus, it is less expensive in Europe then in America. Much more
