I'm in the U.S. from Canada for 2 months. My current provide is Fido and I bought a travel pack for 2 months. I'm completely dissatisfied and want to cancel my service with them altogether. I'd like to move to Koodo, they offer much more reasonable plans to Canadian travelers to the U.S. Can I cancel my Fido service and begin a contract with Koodo while I'm here, keeping my current phone number? I need a new phone also as my screen is cracked. Would I keep my current phone or get a new one here?
