topping up an existing tab

I have been a koodo client for years and have accrued the max positive tab by paying my bills. If you top up any tab to the maximum $150 this is very unfair. The only way I can use this credit is by purchasing a new phone and they are only available on plans that cost a lot more than my current one. What deals are offered to clients like myself who have been loyal to Koodo for years and are now being punished for it.

Hello Pamela,

Plans are more expensive because you need to pay for your phone that's the only reason. Once your phone is paid up, plan price will go down.

"...they(Tab) are only available on plans that cost a lot more than my current one."

You can use your $150 tab for your next phone upgrade.  If the phone cost you $500, then it will be $350 for you.  If the phone is $1000, then it will be $850 for you.
Only restriction is the Tab size.  If your plan is under $40, you can still upgrade your phone with your positive Tab. You just need to pay more upfront and put rest on Tab S (up to $240).

All old grandfathered plans still qualify for Tab Small.

I fail to see how you are being punished.  If anything, the others are being rewarded slightly more.  If anything, that is life.  Sometimes the timing works out to your advantage, and sometimes it works out to less of an advantage.

Since Tab plans with accrual have not been available for some years, it is very likely that most of the Tab bonuses were at or near the $150 level anyway. Why not be happy for the folks who got the extra $10 - $20 added to their bonus?
