I called a toll free number. why should I pay additional charges?

If it's out of Canada then you still pay LD or maybe you went over your minutes? I don't know, it's hard to tell with such little info.

Yeah it went over my minutes, but it is a toll free number. Does it still count in my minutes?

Hi Wayne,

As far as I know you don't pay extra for a toll free number, but it does count towards your air time. Unfortunately this is the way cellphones work and is quite normal :(

The "toll" referred to in "toll free" refers to the long distance toll. This means that you don't pay long distance charges no matter where you call the number from.
