told no more tab credit

Went to Red Deer to get a new phone sunday the person at the counter never asked me for any information and told me that Kodoo no longer has a tab and the cheapest phone I could get was the samsung neo.She stated it would be a charge of $15 extra a month for 24 months.When I go on line it says I have a tab of $121 and that I can get any the samsung galaxy S 6 for $10 a month for 23 month and a final payment of $8.a savings of $344 . None of the phones I looked at had a $15 fee all were $10. so which is right the clerk or the web site?

Hi Brian,

Both are technically correct. Without knowing, the clerk would have to assume you are a new customer. For new customers, the least expensive phone would probably be the Neo. However, since you have an accumulated tab of 121$, you can take that amount off of a tab. So for example, if a phone would cost a total of 504$, the cost would go down to 383$ over the next 24 months, which would mean a payment of 15.96$/month instead of the 21$. Same thing for a 360$ phone, instead of being 15$/month payments it would be 9.96$/month.

No iI had my phone in my hand showed her and asked what the cheapest upgrade phone would be. According to kodoos web site the s6 is the same monthly cost as the neo

Just because you had your phone in her hand does not mean she can open up your account and look. You'd have to present ID for her to be able to do so.

I asked what it would cost with my tab and she told me kodoo no longer has a tab .As soon as I logged on it adjusted all phones for a 121 tab amount .My total bill per month is 47.71 and my employer pays a max of 50.00 so trying to get one that will not cost me an arm and a leg to buy.My present phone will not last idle for 24 hours and at times the back gets hot so time to move on this one cost me 20 when i used my tab now i'm looking at hundereds to replace it  . i do not need to new tech phone just one that works.The math does not seem to work out though. I can get the neo and the S6 for the same monthly 10 dollar fee for 23 months and a final of 8 dollars.

My other point is she never asked for any information from me as to my account the previous customer did not get the greatest service he was having problems with his phone. We seemed to inconvenience her by asking questions. From day one I have not been able to download pictures from my phone.Asked her about it she said plug the cord into your computer it will download. I told her it has never worked will not acknowledge it is connected. Her answer was I don't know. Granted she was not a tech but at the same time she was not a sales rep. I live 1.5 hours from the nearest store and find the Red Deer location is not very helpful and courteous it is like dealing with two different companies when I visit the Sundridge mall outlet have never walked away from them with out answers even if they were not the ones I wanted at least I got an answer.
