Time listed on notifications on Galaxy II is wrong

The clock on my Galaxy SII X has the correct time but everytime I miss a call or get a notification the time recorded is two hours later. I'm in MST so the notifications seem to be using EST. My phone is set to use MST in the settings and everything else seems to have the right time so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Are you using any 3rd party clock or notification apps you've downloaded?

No, just the pulldown notification bar that comes installed. I only get the standard notifications for missed calls, messages, software updates and facebook - which is probably the only thing I've downloaded myself.

Have you tried both automatic time setting by network & automatic time zone, as well as setting them manually?
If you have then try doing a simple Battery /SIM pull.
While the phone is on pull out the Battery & SIM Card for about a minute or so, then replace them & turn it on.
Let me know if any of those work.

Did any of my suggestions work for you Brandi?

I have tried changing all the time settings and none of them change anything. The only place the time seems to come up wrong is on the notifications. If I actually go in to the call log the time is correctly recorded.
If I pull the SIM card/battery will I lose my data?

No, you will not lose any saved data, it will simply reboot the device. Not sure why people insist on pulling out the SIM, I never do and have never run into any issues. Constantly pulling the SIM creates premature wear, over time this can lead to SIM card failure, so I advise against this unless absolutely necessary.
