You can only return a phone 14 days from the day that you purchase. 15 days and beyond, the phone cannot be returned.

I do not want it. You said it would work anywhere in Canada, hello, it doesn't.......... You lied.......... Now I have a phone that can't even be unlocked. I tried, again you lied....... I have since bought one that works a little better. (and that wasn't hard).

Once you have canceled your service and closed your account and paid your final bill, the phone is yours to keep!

If you no longer want the phone, then feel free to sell it. Where exactly does the phone not work that you were told that it would?

The phone can be unlocked if you look towards a 3rd party unlocking service.

You seem to have us confused for employees. We are simply posters of this community. If you have a gripe about Koodo, maybe actually call them instead of insulting random strangers on a forum.

Yes, HSPA coverage in MB is poor. Please address letters of thanks to MTS, as they signed an exclusive deal with Rogers, meaning that nobody else can use their towers.

That has more to do with MTS than it does with Koodo. The only Manitoba coverage that Koodo can guarantee is CDMA.

Alright bud, calm down.

1. Which phone is it?

2. Where was the phone not working that you were told it would? Why was the service so bad?

I'm sorry that you can't return the phone if it's past the 14 day window, but that's a standard across the board... it's not like any other carrier has a different policy. Some will even tack on a less than 30 minutes or 50 MB rule, too (almost like km on a car)... such as Rogers or Bell.

I HAVE TRIED TO TALK TO KOODO and I do not even know how I got here but you are the only ones that have answered me. I do NOT mean to insult strangers on a forum but at the same time why are you doing this. Koodo themselves can't talk to people and give straight answers? Makes one very mad.

If you want direct answers from Koodo, then you need to actually call and speak with them. We are simple active community members who volunteer our time on this forum. This forum is moderated, but we members are able to answer at a very quick rate.

If you want alternate answers, you can ask us and we will do our best, otherwise you will need to call Kood directly if you want answers from them.

It was an i4s. I am not very good with electronics. All I did was ask to send it back so I wouldn't get charged the $50 to unlock it. Then it went over the 3month and they said they would unlock it. Got somebody in to do that twice on the laptop but nothing. Went to my new server and asked if they might be able to do something, NO.. Ended up buying another i4 so I can run my business.

Once again, you cannot return a phone after the initial 14 days of when you purchased the phone. That is right in Koodo's ToS for Money Back Guarantee.

Unlocking an iPhone requires you to do a back up & restore through iTunes with the phone hooked up. Once this is completed, you will get the confirmation that the unlock is complete. If you have any issues, you will need to contact Apple.

There is no provider in Canada that will allow you to return a phone you have been using for 3 months. That includes your new provider, MTS.

You can go to the Apple store (at polo) and they can double check to see if it is unlocked. If it is, then I'm sure they can help you out. If it isnt then Koodo musta messed up and has to send the unlock through again.

It is annoying and frustrating, but know that your phone has value even if you just want to sell it. Or better yet donate it to a women's shelter like the Sage house in the north end of Winnipeg.
