The Koodo app offers better plans than the website. How do I get the plan I see on the app?

I've found a plan through the Koodo app that is not available through the website. How do I change to this plan? I've attached a screenshot which describes the plan.

Hi Cynthia,

To be able to access that plan you must pay off your tab balance (if any). Then, contact Koodo using either *611 or by visiting them at a retail location. For now, the new plans are not available online and you must contact Koodo to get them.

Hope this helps!

I was hesitant to contact koodo because their website says the operators can only access the same plans shown on the website, plus there would be a service charge.

There is a service charge for stuff that you can do yourself online.

However, in this case they can't do it themselves as the plans are not available online so there will be no service charge.

That plan is available on the website however you would need to call customer service to have the rate plan changed. Before you become eligible for the new plans, your tab needs to be settled. Give Koodo a call at *611 if you are interested in changing your plan. Please note that all tab contributions will stop when you change to the new tab plans.

So right now have have a positive balance on my tab of 50 bucks. What happens to it? Do I just loose it if I switch to new plan?

If you get a new phone, they will apply the 50$ at the same time. If you just get the new plan, then you will be loosing it.

You won't lose your positive tab that you already got. They just freeze it and then you can use it whenever.
