I have a $20 canada wide talk & text plan. I am being charged .20 for sending more than 50 texts, yet your ads say "Unlimited Messaging" text & pictures. Why?

Did you change your plan recently?
Are you sure it is a "talk and text" plan?
When you look in the "Account Detail" section of the bill, what does it tell you for the rate plan details?

I'd like to ad that even though the ad says unlimited messaging, does nto mean YOU have that feature because you pay the same price. Can you p;lease let us know the EXACT name of your plan or post a picture of your bill excluding any personl information like accountnumbers, phone numbers, etc.

Here's my plan. I haven't changed anything. Is this not the one with "unlimited" text? If not, what then is it called? Comparing the two plans, I can find no difference.

Keep in mind Bonnie that the Canada wide Talk & text $20 only has 50 minutes per billining cycle. There is no free evenings or weekends with this plan.

Bonnie Beaudry, this plan Canada-wide 20 (CD/VM) does not include unlimited text messages, it comes with only 50 text messages included. That is the reason you are being charges for additional text messages. You should change to the newer plan Canada-Wide Talk + Text 20 for you to have the unlimited text messages

I agree with Tyler. You need to make sure your plan has the unlimited messaging.

The newer $20 plan has unlimited messaging. You must be on the older one that doesn't include it/it was a $5 add-on. Just switch it and you'll be good to go.

Use Self Serve if possible. Koodo charges a $10 service fee for changing plans over the phone by the agent. If you need help changing your plan in Self Serve, Koodo agents will be able to assist you with this at no cost.

Thanks Tyler - I noticed that so I used self serve. Since I use mostly texts this seems the most economical for me.

Thanks all - I just changed my plan to $25/mo which includes unlimited text messaging. Didn't know the original was no longer offered but will be keeping an eye on the web site from now on!
