One person is unable to receive my messages but I can receive theirs. When I check the usage it shows the correct number and that it has sent. All others are able to receive .

I have double checked to make sure this is not trying to send as imessage. I have deleted the contact, reset network settings and manually entered the number with still no luck

Hi Peter,

What service provider is your friend through? Sometimes other service providers can have issues with text messages not being sent or received properly to people on other networks. Have them try powering their phone off and back on and then try it again. If it still doesn't work it sounds like it may be an issue on their end.

Hope that helps

Hi,

Other person is with Rogers. They are able to receive messages from other people and I am able to message all other people.

The only difference I noticed in the usage online is under "usage type" it states "minutes" for this one person but all others is stated as "SMS"
When I look at "Call type" it does list it correctly as "Text Msg"

That is just a system thing that differentiates the usage on your account, but that is strange that it doesn't list it as an SMS either way that shouldn't effect them in this case. That's good that they can send and receive from other people, but they should at least try powering their phone off and on and try texting again, some minor changes in the network can cause issues like this.

Both phones have been power cycled with no difference to the issue

Well it sounds like they are having issues with their side of things, because if you are able to send and receive texts from other people and she can't get your messages, she may need to contact tech support to troubleshoot the issue or see if they have any reports of issues with text messaging.

I would like to add that I am with Bell and I am able to send my friend who is with Koodo messages and she gets them, but I don't get hers. She has also sent my husband (also with Bell) msgs and he doesn't get them but we can send her messages. Both hubby and I can send and receive from other ppl

I managed to solve this one. Appears to be a iPhone issue.
deleted the contact again then deleted all message history from the phone to this person.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions
