I received a text from Koodo informing me of a free upgrade until Sept. 6, but I can't find any information online about this. Any help please?

Koodo does send out texts to customers, offering upgrades. Example: my wife called the US once and shortly after that call, Koodo sent a text that offered a US add-on plan and the cost of same upfront.
By texting Koodo back the word "yes" the US add-on became effective, immediately, thus avoiding any further, overage charges.
If your not interested, with the offer, just ignore the text and the offer will invalidate itself at the date stated.

thanks for your reply. However, I am interested in a free upgrade. I just don't know the particulars.

Did you not get an email from them as well?

Account in my name and my phone was motto g.
Text went to my wife's Galaxy s2x (as she made call on her phone to US) and she texted back "yes".
Then within a few minutes, I received an email from Koodo, stating in part that, my plan was changed, what the change was, confirmation of added cost, and what my new billing cost was.
Sure enough, next Koodo bill came in at prorated cost (cause she did not use a full 30days) and the 2nd bill (after the change) came in at full cost, as promised in the email.
It was all up and up, no tricks, no slight of hand, no gouging with " extra fees" or "administration fees".
When we cancelled, prorated and billing worked in reverse and we are now back to our original plan costs.

So the text did not specify the offer, you can't find it on the web site. The next step would be, call Koodo, if your interested. If not just ignore it.

When I received this kind of text from Koodo, it mentioned device name(S4 in my case)
I forgot exact line but it said "free upgrade" or "$0"  on the Tab. So you still have to pay monthly tab charge.
Check your text again. it should mentioned what phone you can get with this offer.
