Terrible Customer service...what happened koodo?

I've been trying to get in touch with their customer service for 3 days now. The first day I waited for almost an hour and got hung up on saying all reps busy try back later. Then I called back and did the call back option. THey called me back 45 minutes later and I answered and no one was on the other end (not even hold music). So I waited for an hour on the line and NOTHING, no one ever came. 

Today I called back, got through to someone in an hour, who transferred me to royalty and said it was about a ONE HOUR wait. I held for another 2.5 hours (3.5 hours total), and then they said all reps busy try back later.

Are you kidding me right now? For a company that texts me all the time asking me to comment on their customer service and recommend them to others, I find it a bit disgusting. I am actually totally embarrassed with myself that I have actually recommended 4-5 other people to Koodo.

Anyone else notice how terrible their customer service is lately? Now seems like a great time to switch away with all these pre-christmas offers out there from competitors.

Waited 3hrs today, and 2hrs yesterday.. continually disconnected while waiting for retentions.  Not happy

We are overwhelmed by demand for a current promo. We didn't see this coming and indeed struggle with the volume. While messaging via Facebook won't be any faster it at least saves time on waiting on hold.

Why not just allow the regular CSR's to deal with it?.. i've gotten through to 3 of them.. then they transfer me to retentions.. and i've lost 5 hrs of my life being disconnected at the 2+ hr mark twice

Same here, why bother going to loyalty for switching plans for people with zero tab? Are you going to extend promo for the people who tried everyday to get through but couldn't? How's that going to work.

We still provide outstanding customer service, Koodo is all about Customer First... Whats happening now is out of the ordinary and it is also happening to all providers due to a current promotion...

There are things in life you can't control... Just think about everytime you had an issue and Koodo was there to help you out... Many things Koodo does that other companies are far from doing!
